Teacher's Notes

This activity can be used by anyone in the education field in order to enhance the learning environment. We specifically targeted teachers of attention deficit disorder students.

Here is some information of why this activity is used.

Purpose: Teachers research ways to modify their lesson plans to benefit ADD students.

Skills and Knowledge: Teachers have created a lesson plan prior to this activity. They are expected to modify this lesson plan to accommodate the needs of their ADD students by using the information they found from internet sites in the process section. The modifications must meet specific district requirements which will be established by the administrator.

Time and Resources: Teachers are given two weeks to devise the lesson plan and include the modifications. Internet sites are used to provide definitions and strategies to create modifications.

Once these modifications are established, the students will be capable of completing tasks more efficiently and the teacher will feel more confident in their abilities to teach children with ADD.
